Easter Egg Hunt – A Family Affair

Mr. And Mrs. Peter Rabbit made their annual appearance again this year for our Jeanne Jugan Residence Easter Egg Hunt. And all were invited! Families and friends of our Sisters, Staff and Residents all joined in the fun. The sunny, warm weather made the hunt just nicer than ever.
After searching our courtyard for the hidden Easter treasures skillfully stashed away by our Activities Staff, children, young and old, proudly displayed (and nibbled on) their findings!
Afterwards everyone came inside to our mall area to admire our beautiful one-of-a-kind, Easter Tree, complete with hand decorated ornaments. We made Easter crafts, played games, won prizes, enjoyed our Easter treats and had our pictures taken with the Easter Bunny!
It was wonderful to meet the families and extended families of our friends and neighbors, and watch over four generations chatting, laughing, and enjoying the good company of one another. But the best part was seeing the immediate and genuine connection between young and old. What a wonderful celebration of life at every stage!
